Anne has spent the majority of her career in art museums and arts organizations that support teachers and students through arts exposure, arts education, and integration of the arts into classroom teaching. She has held positions at the Walters Art Museum, Baltimore, MD; the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA; the Norton Museum of Art,West Palm Beach, FL; the Center for Creative Education, West Palm Beach, FL; the Vero Beach Museum of Art, Vero Beach, FL; and the Durham Arts Council, Durham, NC.
Prior to starting the Ph.D. program in Education Policy, she was the School Programs Manager at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR where she developed an onsite program that serves 30,000 students annually. She has a B.F.A. in photography from the Maryland Institute College of Art, a M.A. in Museum Education from University of the Arts and a M.S. in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University. Research interests include arts education, cultural policy, and enrichment programs
